Safety Signages Made to Singapore Standard 508

Under Singapore Fire Code 6.2.9 , Graphical symbols to depict fire safety equipment are allowed for use in buildings provided the signs comply with SS 508.  The symbols that we used in our signages will comply to Singapore Standard 508 both in design and size requirements. From a viewing distance of 12m or more, the size of the symbol should be at least 150mm.

Where possible, “pop out” or three dimensional signages should be used. Traditional, flat signages have the advantage of having a low cost but they cannot be seen from a distance from certain angles. However, our A Frame signages can be viewed from almost all 180 degree angles.
