Description
ABS 9 Liter Foam Fire Extinguishers are capable of fighting Class A, Class B and Class F fires. Unlike powder types which easily block the vision of fire fighters, foam fire extinguishers allow full vision. The long discharge time allows the operator a greater margin of error when aiming while the foam will protect against flashbacks. It is ecological and biodegradable to 98%.
Onboard a ship, weeks away from land workshops, this fire extinguisher does not require a workshop to refill or maintain. Upon discharge, the crew can simply refill the fire extinguisher with spare powder and replace the used cartridge with a new piece. A wide cylinder opening allows crew to easily check the state of the powder with the help of an adjustable spanner.
Rigorous testing ensure that the ABS Foam Fire Extinguisher is suitable to the most hostile environments including onboard vessels, coastal installations, oil rigs and more.
