Description

ABS Foam Trolley Fire Extinguishers are capable of fighting Class A, Class B and Class F fires. Unlike powder types which easily block the vision of fire fighters, foam fire extinguishers allow full vision. The long discharge time allows the operator a greater margin of error when aiming while the foam will protect against flashbacks. This specific model is highly resistant to freezing, making it suitable for vassals traveling through frozen seas.

Onboard a ship, weeks away from land workshops, this fire extinguisher does not require a workshop to refill or maintain. Upon discharge, the crew can simply refill the fire extinguisher with spare powder and replace the used cartridge with a new piece. A wide cylinder opening allows crew to easily check the state of the powder with the help of an adjustable spanner.

Rigorous testing ensure that the ABS Foam Trolley Fire Extinguisher is suitable to the most hostile environments including onboard vessels, coastal installations, oil rigs and more.

What type of fire can I use this fire extinguisher for?

Before you use a fire extinguisher, always ensure you have an escape route. If you have to use a fire extinguisher, do so at a safe distance. When in doubt, always choose to run. Even professional fire fighters in full fire resistant suits have been trained to never put their own lives at risk. Ensure that the fire extinguisher is located to the work area and operators are trained in the use of fire extinguishers.

Ensure that extinguisher is located close to the work area and operators are trained in the use of extinguishers.

Class-A-Fire Class A
Class A fires which are combustible materials such as wood, tires, furniture, plastics, etc.
Class-B-Fire Class B
Class B fires which are flammable liquids such as paint, thinner, petrol, etc.
Class-E-Fire Class E
Class E fires which are electrical fires but do not include lithium battery fires.*

*The first step of eliminating a Class E fire is to turn off the source by shutting off the electrical supply. If there is still a fire, the fire is likely to be a class A or B fire which will be much easier to put out as compared to a E fire.
